The cARP structure covers not just direct patient care, but also indirect care, virtual visits and more, ensuring you're compensated for the full scope of your work. It is an ideal option for new graduates and physicians new to Calgary looking to create a sustainable and supportive practice.

Your practice, your choice: physicians have the flexibility to choose the compensation model that works best for them, whether that's the new cARP, the Primary Care Physician Compensation Model (PCPCM) or traditional Fee for Service.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at the Family Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and mental health providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency program.
• Valid medical license to practice in Alberta.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and advancements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered and culturally competent care.
