What You'll Do

See Virtual Consultations: Conduct remote medical consultations with patients using a text-based communication platform, ensuring effective diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care management.
Medical Assessments: Perform comprehensive medical assessments through virtual platforms, including reviewing medical histories, analyzing symptoms, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
Diagnosis and Treatment: Accurately diagnose medical conditions, provide appropriate treatment plans, prescribe medications, and make referrals to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed.
Patient Education: Effectively communicate medical information to patients, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures in a clear and understandable manner. Promote health education and disease prevention strategies to enhance patient well-being.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records of patient consultations, using Beluga’s proprietary EMR system, and ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
Collaborative Care: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care, provide continuity, and ensure optimal health outcomes.
Teletriage: Conduct teletriage services to assess patient urgency and determine appropriate levels of care required, including guiding patients to emergency services when necessary.
Quality Improvement: Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives by participating in peer reviews, sharing knowledge and best practices, and implementing evidence-based guidelines in virtual care delivery.
Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards governing virtual care practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality, informed consent, and following guidelines established by the licensing authorities and professional medical associations.
