Who we are ?

Satayu Medical Clinic is a well established family medical practice in Regina, Saskatchewan with a large patient base. Shatayu’s working environment is highly supportive, inclusive and discrimination-free where our core values are built on the well-being of our employees and everyone is respected with professional integrity. 

Our Clinic is in a brand newly developed property having all the latest diagnostics wall mounts in exam rooms with overhead music going on making the environment calm and stress free, brand new computers for EMR Accuro access in each exam room/reception/office, medical/surgical supplies and highly trained support staff and more.   

Compensation

• "Fee-For-Service" @ 80% of the gross earnings to Physician and 20% towards clinic overheads. Physicians keep 100% of their earnings from working at hospitals, hospital visits, etc. NO 20% overheads on these earnings.
• Our patient base is huge and can keep the Physicians busy as much as they want.
• Average gross income of those physicians seeing patients ranging 35 to 45 a day is C.$ 440,000 to C.$ 530,000 ie BPS 226,000 to BPS 300,000 Physicians decide their own income. 
• Weekends and after hour consultations by physicians are incentivized by the Ministry of Health which further supplements Physician's income.  
• We also facilitate telehealth if so desired by physicians. Patient load is decided by the physician. We work around physician's convenience.

Relocation / Signing Bonus & Assistance

• C.$ 25,000.
• We offer free relocation assistance like finding a home, meeting and greeting them at the airport, etc.  
• Towards CFPC accreditation and CPSS licensing we have experienced team of professionals to guide you through.
• We also have experienced professionals to guide you through immigration matters.

Shares

• Physicians interested to buy Shatayu shares are made possible through share purchase option. One of the benefits of being a shareholder of Shatayu is that it enables you to further reduce your overheads, at the end of the day when you receive dividends on your invements.

Requirements / Responsibilities

• Candidate should be fluent in English.
• Qualified and accredited or eligible to be accredited by CFPC (College of Family Physicians of Canada) and eligible for CPSS (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan) license.
• Note : According to the CFPC, at present, the primary jurisdictions recognized for family physician licensure in Canada include those GPs from Australia (FRACGP), Ireland (MRCPI), the United Kingdom (MRCGP), and the United States of America, meaning that a medical graduate from these countries can potentially apply for a Canadian Family Physician license with less stringent requirements. IMGs meeting the above qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

Some of the fundamental functions of the Family Physicians are the following (but not limited to) : 

• Examine patients, take histories, maintain accurate medical records, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Perform minor surgical procedures
• Perform and assist in routine surgery
• Attend to minor emergencies requiring first aid
• Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
• Provide prenatal and postnatal care (at the discretion of physician)
• Participate in continuing medical education.
• Counselling patients and families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention.
