Permanent and part time Opportunities

Southwestern Ontario

Our client operates six hospitals in Southwestern Ontario serving a population of approximately 170,000. Their mission is to offer Quality Health Care close to home. They have 1,900 dedicated and compassionate staff and over 150 physicians who work together delivering excellent patient care to residents and visitors across their area. Their Regional Hospital is the largest of their sites, and offers a full range of specialty services, including complex surgeries, total joint replacements, cancer surgeries, MRI and CT diagnostic services. Across the six hospitals, they have more than 100,000 patient visits per year.Their rural hospitals offer a wide range of primary and ambulatory care services and all have 24/7 Emergency departments, lab and x-ray.

Supported by a dedicated team of family physicians, they plan to strengthen support for their community hospital Emergency Departments with additional

Full-Time and Part-Time Emergency Medicine Physicians.

Local Inpatient care and full-time/part-time Clinical practice opportunities are also available.

ED shifts are 12 hours (8a-8p/8p-8a) or full 24-hours if preferred.

REMUNERATION: 

Competitive hourly rate (Alternate Funding Agreement) plus percentage of shadow billings. Fee-for-service OHIP for clinical practice and inpatient work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interested candidates should be CCFP or CCFP (EM) designated, or eligibility to obtain.
• Independent license to practice in Ontario.
• US Board certified Family Physicians or Internal Medicine physicians are eligible for a full license in Ontario.
