Job Title: Physician or Surgeon

Cedarbrae Medical Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Physician or Surgeon to join our team on a locum basis. We are an outpatient and walk-in facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient demographic. We welcome applications from International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who are eligible to practice in our location.

This position does not require on-call duties, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. The successful candidate will be expected to work for an estimated 16 patient hours per week. Compensation will be on a fee-for-service basis, providing a competitive remuneration package for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care within your scope of practice.
• Conduct regular thorough examinations on patients to diagnose and treat health disorders and diseases.
• Interpret lab information and x-rays, and make appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and health promotion activities.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program.
• Current and valid license to practice medicine.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and patient-centric approach to care.
