ER locum opportunities in CHESLEY!

We are currently seeking physicians to add to our SBGHC Chesley ED locum mailing list. Available shifts are sent out quarterly by one of our physicians. Shifts are 24 hours but can be split into 12’s as per physician preference. We are a small rural site in South Bruce Grey Health Centre with closest larger center being Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound, KW for Cardiac, and LHSC London for Trauma, neurosurgery, and subspecialists. Ornge available with closest helipad in Hanover. ED has four rooms including a trauma room and a mental health safe room. Typically 15-30 patients are seen during a 24h shift with the large majority registering between 8am and 8pm. You usually get to sleep much of the night. +1 not needed to work in our ED. Accommodations provided in hospital or steps away in locum apartments. Good back up from two local docs who do ER if things get really hairy. Payment: average ~$130/h + small % shadow billing + HOCC +/- CTSLPE funding if available.
