Locum in the Rocky Mountains

For those interested in Locums: Please reach out if you are curious about any/all locum opportunities (either GP or GP-OB, and whether short-term or long-term). We schedule 5-8locums/wk at our clinic, so there is no shortage of opportunities! Whatever your your ideal schedule is, we can find options that will serve you.

As a locum, we have also started a locum-run roster to serve the growing number of unrostered patients in this beautiful community. Patients will be paneled to our clinic in order to provide a "Patient Medical Home", but they will be served by rotating locums.

For those interested only in GP: Our clinic is looking for full-spectrum family physicians (locums and permanent). Many in our group have also have special interests including women’s health, sports medicine, indigenous health, and hospitalist medicine; we encourage development of professional and personal interests. The clinic has large exam rooms, a procedure room, and full-time RN support....and beautiful mountain views! Supplemental work in hospitalist, supportive-living facility, and surgical assisting is available.

For those interested in GP-OB: Our clinic does a mix of maternity care and standard family medicine. Our low-risk OB team is supported by 24/7 GP Anesthesia and C-Section coverage. Because low-risk women can choose a Canmore delivery (regardless of their geography!), we offer a Cochrane satellite prenatal clinic to support their care closer to home. Our very supportive team makes this a great environment for physicians early in practice. We do 300-350 deliveries per year. An R3 in low-risk obstetrics is not required but is an asset.
