Registered Dental Assistant

We are growing and seeking a part-time skilled and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in Leduc. Our dental practice is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care and we are looking for a reliable and motivated team player to help us achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including taking and recording patient medical and dental histories, performing chairside procedures, and providing patient education.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines.
• Take dental impressions, X-rays, and intraoral photographs.
• Perform laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns and bridges.
• Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks as assigned.
• Work with other team members to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the practice.

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant with a valid license in Alberta.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a dental assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with dental software and computer skills.

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
