Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as composite fillings and impression materials - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Schedule and confirm patient appointments - Manage patient records and update information in the dental software system - Provide support to the front office staff as needed
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred - Orthodontic experience is a plus - Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus - X-ray certification required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment
