The Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (SPEP) is a program delivered in collaboration with Ontario Health and the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). SPEP Nurse Learners will work in a learner capacity for up to 450 hours under the direct supervision of a preceptor to demonstrate application of nursing knowledge, skill, and judgment. Learners will work in close collaboration with the healthcare team to demonstrate an understanding of their nursing accountabilities in line with the CNO Entry to Practice Competencies. THP will provide a supportive environment for learners to demonstrate evidence of safe practice as they assume increasing autonomy and accountability in the provision of care for patients.
