Family Physician

Job Title: Physician or Specialist

Imagine Health Centres - Edmonton is seeking a dedicated and professional Physician or Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position in our medical clinic and walk-in facility. We are a dynamic and growing health care organization, providing a range of services to a diverse patient demographic. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and patient-centered environment that allows you to run your practice as an owner within the clinic, where the focus is on providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes, being very well supported with highly trained support staff.

The Physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, performing procedures, and providing preventative care. The role involves working approximately 20 - 40 patient hours per week, with the option to be on-call. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a robust practice, with a patient volume from 500 to 2000. Compensation is on a fee-for-service basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and patient-centered care.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
• Perform procedures as necessary.
• Provide preventative care and health education.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice medicine in Alberta.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
