Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist at our location in Airdrie, AB. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and counseling patients on medication usage and potential side effects. They will collaborate with healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and their uses, as well as relevant medication laws and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining patient records
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address medication-related issues
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a valid pharmacy license in the province of Alberta
• Experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred
• Fluency in additional languages is an asset
