Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records - Prepare and package medications for distribution to patients - Perform medication inventory management and stock replenishment - Enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns from patients and healthcare professionals - Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills: - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical abbreviations - Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and procedures - Proficient in medication administration techniques - Ability to accurately perform calculations for medication dosages - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
