Family Physician

Job Title: Physician or Surgeon

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician or Surgeon to join our team at the Holor Medical Centre. This is a permanent position in our outpatient and walk-in facility, providing care to a diverse patient demographic. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries, providing expert medical advice to patients, and contributing to the overall quality of care provided by our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries.
• Advise patients on preventive health care and disease management.
• Conduct regular thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
• Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and staff to form a high performing medical team.
• Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians when needed (ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurologists etc.).

Requirements:

• CPSO license in good standing
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in medical procedures including examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
