Job Title: Physician or Surgeon

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Family physician to join our team at the Westmount Community Health Center for the office of Drs. Lagrotteria. This is a permanent  locum position  with the potential of taking over one of the practices in our outpatient facility, primarily serving middle-income individuals. The physicians are part of a family health team. Being part of the family health team one will have access to mental health counselors ,clinical pharmacist, psychiatrists  and dietitians. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients, with an estimated patient hours of approx 18 hrs  - 2.5 days per week per week and a patient volume approximately 30 patients per day. The option for on-call duties is available but not mandatory. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical services to patients.
• Perform routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues.
• Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health.
• Conduct procedures, operations, and therapeutic interventions based on diagnosed diseases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a family physician
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
