Maternity leave Locum position for Family Physician in beautiful Parry Sound

Family Physician at Rugged Shores Family Health Team (FHO) is looking for a Locum Physician to cover a maternity leave starting last week in February 2024 for anywhere from 1-6 months long. No on-call requirements and a daily salary of $1000/full day of seeing patients plus $250/admin day. No minimal position time however at least 1 month would be best with max 2 -3 days of seeing patients in clinic per week with an estimated 16-20 patient hours and checking labs/messages the other days of the work week (usually entails 2 hours/day when not in clinic excluding weekends with compensation of $250/day). The physician will manage a patient panel/roster of 1400. The FHO is a very friendly environment with allied help readily available and corridor consults with other physicians. • Provide primary care services to a roster of 1400 patients at Rugged Shores Family Health Team
• Work a maximum of 2-3 days per week with a maximum of 20 estimated patient hours
• Maintain flexible days with no on-call requirements
• Keep accurate and detailed patient records
• Receive daily salary compensation ($1000/full day) for the days working in the clinic seeing patients in addition to compensation for days not seeing patients and managing admin work/labs/messages($250/admin day).

• Must have a valid medical license and in good standing with CPSO
• No on-call requirements
• Compensation is Daily Salary
• Must be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week in clinic seeing patients (max 2.5-3 days) and clinic is open 9-5 pm Monday- Thursday, Friday 9-3 pm.
