Moose and Squirrel Medical Clinic

The Moose & Squirrel Medical clinic is looking for like minded family physicians to join them in providing full service family medicine care to Sundre and area.  We are looking for contract physicians and locums to join our amazing multidisciplinary team!  

We work in the clinic 2 to 3 days a week and rotate to cover the Myron Thompson Health Center ER and hospitalist rotation.  Locums and contract physicians are mentored in all areas of practice, and we have a formal backup system 24/7 for our ER shifts so you are always supported - no matter your level of experience. 

The job provides a true rural generalist experience with oodles of procedures, antenatal and postnatal care (no intentional deliveries though) and some of every specialty!   Our hospital has 14 beds (2 telemetry beds), 5 ER beds, 2 additional care areas, LTC and a 105 bed Seniors assisted living facility.

Only 75 minutes from the Calgary International Airport, and only 1 hr 44 to Canmore/Banff it is easy to get away.  The distance means date night to a NHL or NFL game, theatre, concerts are easily done.  All the while you enjoy the lower cost of living, and the amazing nature that surrounds us. West of town is the "back side" of Banff National park with wild horse herds and incredible opportunities for outdoor adventure.
